Ed Tech III - Adult Education

Piscataquis Valley Adult Education Cooperative seeks an organized, flexible, compassionate, dedicated educational technician III. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a collaborative work ethic, and experience working with multiple modalities of instruction including, in-person, hybrid, and virtual instruction. 

The candidate should enjoy working with small groups of students or one-on-one as our adult learners work toward their high school diplomas, prepare to take the HiSET Examinations, or participate in workforce readiness training.  Minimal travel to our learning centers in Dover Foxcroft, Dexter, Milo, Guilford, and the Piscataquic County Jail will be required. Employees are reimbursed for required travel.

Being proficient in technology is required. PVAEC utilizes Google Suite,  Edmentum Plato learning platform, other education assessments such as CASAS, and data management systems such as MaineStars and Schoology. Training for specific technology programs will be provided.  Educational Technician III certification is required.
