We are excited to announce that we are now accepting course proposals for the Fall 2024 semester!
Effective Fall 2024, we will be transitioning from our current hourly pay scale to a 70/30 revenue split model. Under this new structure, instructors will receive 70% of the total revenue generated from their classes, while 30% will go towards administrative and operational costs.
Please note that this change does not apply to instructors who are already paid per student or via invoice. Those arrangements will remain unchanged.
For those transitioning to the 70/30 split model, you will need to determine your price per student. Your price per student should also cover any supply costs you may incur. We will add 30% to your indicated price to cover our administrative and operational costs. To help keep course fees down, you may require students to bring their own supplies. In this case, please include a necessary supplies list in your course description.
We believe this new model will better reflect the value and impact of your teaching, as well as provide a more equitable distribution of earnings based on class attendance and success. We are confident that this change will benefit both you and our program in the long term.
We understand that this is a significant adjustment, and we are here to support you through this transition. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns you may have. We are happy to discuss this further and address any specific considerations you might have.
Thank you for your continued dedication and hard work. We look forward to another successful season of enriching and inspiring our community together.
Please schedule your classes to begin no earlier than Tuesday, September 3, 2024. We reserve the right to adjust course schedules as we see fit, however, we will make every effort to accommodate your request. Enrichment classes are offered Monday-Thursday at our Dover-Foxcroft and Dexter Learning Centers. Course proposals are due by Friday, July 26, 2024.
