Can you knit and purl? Then you can use one long loop knitting needle to make two socks at the same time. A pattern template will be provided for toe up socks including visible seamless cast on, gusset heel, signature rib and stretchy bind off. Your pattern template can be used for any (yummy) yarn… just select a needle gauge that will create the tension you want for your socks. For this class, you may wish to select a light solid color yarn, weight #4; and a 47-inch long loop needle with a gauge that will yield about five stitches per inch (probably 6 gauge). We’ll also explore various ways of casting on, turning the heel and binding off for toe up and cuff down socks on the long loop needle. Please bring your long loop (magic loop) knitting needle and your yarn divided into two balls.
