Piscataquis Valley Adult Education Cooperative (PVAEC) is seeking a p/t CDL A driving instructor who has at least 4 years of verifiable experience as a truck driver, current DOT Physical, Defensive Driving Practices, and a safe driving record. Must be a certified driver education instructor with a Class A commercial vehicle endorsement and willing to work weekends and evenings on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of the commercial driving industry and DMV/DOT regulations, experience working with adult learners, classroom management skills, computer skills, a high degree of professionalism, and be a team player. Job will also require a State of Maine background and fingerprint check. Pay will be based on experience.
