Piscataquis Valley Adult Education Cooperative has graduated another class of Certified Nursing Assistants. The 8 students participated in a 200-hour course, including classroom work and clinicals that taught them skills necessary to pass the state exam and to be hired to work as a CNA in a hospital, nursing home, or assist in some other health care setting.
PVAEC held its pinning ceremony on August 19th at its office in Dover-Foxcroft with many family and friends attending. CNA Instructor Marcia Young, RN pinned each of the successful CNA candidates.

PVAEC - Piscataquis Valley Adult Education Coopertive - is pleased to announce the opening of our new Learning Center in Dexter. Through the cooperation of the Town of Dexter, Totally Teens, the Rec Department, Maintenance and TCTC, and with the help of many volunteers, we have located our Learning Center in the old town hall building, across from the Library. From the lights at Spring and Main Streets, turn to go up the hill with the Library on your left and the Post Office on your right. Take your first left, and the Old Town Hall is the next building beyond the library on the left.
