The Test of Essential Academic Skills™(TEAS®) measures your reading comprehension, English skills (such as grammar and punctuation), the rate at which you read, basic math skills, and science knowledge. The TEAS® consists of four content areas: Math, Reading, English, and Science. The Math subtest covers whole numbers, metric conversion, fractions and decimals, algebraic equations, percentages, and ratio/proportion. Reading covers paragraph comprehension, and passage comprehension. The English covers grammar, sentence structure, spelling and punctuation. The Science portion of the exam covers biology, chemistry, A&P, physical principles, and general science.
